Last day of January...yippee.......

Our winter has not been that bad but I find January and February long and cold......

We are starting to see some more sunshine though it has been bitterly cold......

Today, a little studying, laundry, grocery shopping and hopefully a little time to sew or crochet.

Happy Sunday to all of you!!

Cheers!

A good day to stay indoors.......and crochet.
The wind is blowing and the snow is flying......people are driving slowly.......and everyone is all bundled up........

Another grey day outside!! It was raining this morning and then mid morning it started to snow....great big flakes. It is neither raining or snowing now but there is not a hint of sun in sight.

I long for those sunny bright days...I miss them...this is where I start to get a little sluggish after Christmas with the lack of sunshine.

I have been to the gym and now I have to do some much needed cleaning that I ignored over my lazy weekend.

Hope there is more sunshine in your lives!

Cheers...

Yesterday I made cupcakes for our annual Euchre tournament. I was most excited about my new cupcake container!!! Very practical!!

Today it is raining, a mild day for January. Most of the snow will melt but I think we are in for more snow and colder temps this week. February will be a long month but I have some more inside chores to complete before Spring and then once Spring arrives I will be outside all day!!

I am staying in my pj's all day today.......Cheers!!

I am slowly getting back to crafting. It has taken a long time to get the zest back after my Mom's passing. I have to remember that she taught me all those wonderful things and when I do them it makes me think of her.
I am crocheting coasters right now, I have to sew the threads in and finish a couple more. I never have enough coasters and I like these ones because I can wash them. I made 12 of them.

I like little projects because I bore easily and I get excited about starting new projects almost everyday! I made a dish matt for my dishes, I don't use a dish rack. I love it because I can just leave it to dry over one of the kitchen chairs and it can be washed. I also made a runner for my daughter's dresser. She always leaves her makeup open and I don't like it to stain the furniture.
Have a great day!!
Cheers
