Rainy cool day again today....where is the sunshine? I have been good this week, to the gym every morning at 6 a.m......I am good and tired by 3 p.m. however. Nothing a good coffee can't fix!!

I have been doing some sewing this week but really, three days off, I really have got nothing accomplished. I guess that is what we would call "rest and relaxation"...

.....homemade blueberry pancakes and coffee made by my girls.....box of mint smoothie chocolates.......cute card.....grocery shopping as a family....taking flowers to the cemetery........and visiting my Dad with a box of donuts and coffee....dinner made by hubby!!

Beautiful sun shiny day! I am sewing and listening to Laura Marling and Marcus Mumford.........later out to do some garden work!!

I will post my sewing projects next post if I get them done.

I have attached a pic of my new coffee maker.....I love it..keeps my coffee warm and fresh for hours. I think I have mastered the challah bread....I am not jewish but we love the bread for breakfast with coffee...the six braid loaf is a bit of a challenge but thanks to "you tube" and a tutorial, I think I got it!!

Today I must sew sew sew....I have one more project to complete by Wednesday. I will post my finished projects when I am finished.

To the gym this morning and grocery shopping. Driving for Alli's tennis team and a visit to Opi and the cemetery.

I think the sun is going to peek out.....it rained last night. Everything is looking so green and lush...the leaves have come out on the trees!! Oh, I love spring!!

Happy May 1st!!

It looks like it is going to rain today. I wanted to get some garden work done today but I may have to switch it up a bit and sew today and garden tomorrow. I am off to the gym shortly, I need my cup of coffee first.

I am going to attempt to sew two little softie dolls. I made two in the past from my own pattern but I got a pattern off the internet which I am going to try and use.

I want to do a little baking today as well. I have been making challah bread from scratch...it takes a bit of practice to get the braiding right!! I can braid with three strands but six is a little more difficult......I learned from a video on you tube!!

We may go to the Music Club tonight to listen to some music and have a couple of drinks and then we are going out for breakfast tomorrow. My 17 year old has a job interview tomorrow for a clothing store at the mall near our home. I wish her luck!!
She really wants the job.

Have a great weekend, it is getting closer to planting time....start thinking about the flowers you want to plant!!
