Happy Sunday,

It started out sunny and very humid today and it is raining now. I must say that I am somewhat happy to see the rain because my gardens always need a good drink. I am not very good at doing daily watering.

Today was a day of chores, laundry, grocery shopping and I did some cleaning as well. Yesterday we hung out at my Dad's pool and then we played games last night as a family. We played horseshoes, croquet and cards all outside by the bonfire. It was a nice night to hang out with the fam.

Tomorrow is Maddi's graduation from grade 8. I will be sad to see her leave her school and her friends, most of her friends are going on to different schools. Presently she goes to an arts school in core London and most of the kids will be going to their home high schools so they will all be separated next year. A new adventure and new friendships.

School will be done this week which means the kids will be home for the summer.....mixed feelings, I love having them home having a break from all the school work and commitments but I will have to set down some rules about doing some chores and helping me keep things in order. I find teens very messy!!

It is raining today, I am not too sad about that because I have some things to do inside today and my garden was looking a little wilty........

My Maddi left for Quebec today for 4 days. I hope she has a good time!! She was quite excited about it!!

She will be graduating from grade 8 next week...that will put a tear in my eye...

It looks like it is going to rain for 3 days according to the forecast, I don't mind one day of rain but 3...that is a bit much!!

Have a good day, I am a little sleepy, an afternoon nap will be in order.

It was one year ago today, you left us Omi...We miss you so much. We know you are watching over us each day but we wish you were still here with us. We watched you suffer all those years, we know you are not suffering now so we can have some peace in knowing that.

I miss you so much and not a day goes by that I do not think about you.

Good Morning:

Back in London town. Five days in NYC, what an adventure. Attended the Brooklyn Renegade craft fair.....bought myself a very nice dress.

It is very quiet here at home.......I do miss the big city!!

Renegade craft fair in Chicago is looking like a possibility, if not this year, for sure next year!!

I have some craft ideas but need to get some time to do them....summers and end of the school season is always busy with the kids.
