My daughters and I took the bus downtown and then went to our favourite diner for lunch. We then headed over to the Sunfest, a gathering in our downtown park with many vendors selling their creations.

My daughter picked out a little black and white back pack with red piping at my friend's shop this afternoon. Her website is www.weezi.com. Her shop is above the diner. She is a local designer who loves vintage stuff. Lots of neat finds in her shop!!

I learned a little about the hookah pipe today. I have heard of the hookah bars and I hear the kids talking about the pipes, I wanted to find out for myself what this pipe was all about. There is a little shop, actually like a hole in the wall where hookahs and other various pipes are sold right near the diner. It is quite an interesting pipe, I wanted to find out it's origin and how and who uses it. The gentleman who owned the store showed me how it is smoked and what types of things are smoked. My guess to why so many teens have one was correct..........

I am getting quite a good education these days listening to my daughter and her friends!!! You learn something new every day!!!
